Artist reply:

I am honored to have the opportunity to conduct this personal interview about Gyotaku art. I have been fascinated by this ancient technique and art form and have been dedicated to learning and exploring its potential over the past few years.

Gyotaku art is a form of art that uses the body imprint of fish to create unique and beautiful pieces. What makes Gyotaku art so remarkable is its uniqueness and beauty. Each Gyotaku art piece is one-of-a-kind because they are created from different species of fish. Through Gyotaku art, we can see the texture and details on the bodies of fish, which can be difficult to express in other forms of art.

As an artist, my fascination with Gyotaku art stems from my love for nature. I believe that every creature in the natural world has its own unique beauty and value, and Gyotaku art is a way to express this beauty and value.

When creating Gyotaku art pieces, I always strive to showcase this beauty and value. I carefully observe each fish, choose the most suitable position for printing, and try to preserve as many details and shapes of the fish's body as possible. This way, my work can exhibit a natural aesthetic and also help the audience better understand the value and importance of these creatures.

In this modern world, we sometimes forget the beauty and value of nature. However, through Gyotaku art, we can rediscover these values and beauty and appreciate them better. I hope my work can reconnect the audience to the natural world and remind us to protect and cherish these precious resources.

In this challenging and changing era, I believe Gyotaku art can bring people a new experience and feeling. I am very honored to conduct this personal interview and hope my work can continue to bring beauty and value to the world.
